Description

This is proof that you can still find interesting cars out and about! This is a 1999 Saab 9-3 Saloon finished in Metallic Green with Grey Velour Interior, fitted with the 5-Speed Manual gearbox, It is the stereotypical One Lady Owner from new with a Full Service History and only 34k Miles from new!Designed by a team led by Einar Hareide, the first generation of the Saab 9-3 was launched in 1997 for the 1998 model year essentially as a rebadged second generation Saab 900 (1994-1998 model), and succeeded by the redesigned 9-3 Generation 2 for the 2003 model year. The Saab 9-3 had been modified on a number of points compared to the 900, the most visible being the new design of the bumpers, the new grill, and that the registration plate's location was moved to be between the taillights (previously it was placed under). The electrical system used for the Saab 9-5 was also incorporated on the 9-3. While not done at the time of launch the more modern engine control system from the 9-5, Trionic 7, also replaced Trionic 5 which was previously used in the Saab 9000. The chassis was also updated, and the car's crash zones were strengthened. In summary, the 1,100 changes were made to modernize the 900 and to make the car match 9-5 in appearance. Our car was sold new by Sutton Park Saab in Maidstone to its one and only owner, a Miss Kingston, who cherished the car and driver it sparingly, racking up 34k Miles in 25 years! The car has its original book pack including the original service book with 16 stamps up to 34k Miles, a couple of hundred miles ago. The car presents nicely with only minor scrapes and scratches on the bodywork and the interior looking as good as new, she also drives as a new car. The car has a new MOT with No Advisories at all, which shows the quality of the car. These are getting hard to find now and this is basically like running a nearly new car so great fun and very practical to own, perhaps with a good polish it could feature at the Festival of the Unexceptional? Anyway, a real timewarp car for not a lot of money! Next MOT due 22/07/2025, Green, 1 owner, £2,995
