Much loved and very well maintained Mini clubman Hampton edition. Produced in fairly low numbers and definitely stand out from a normal clubman. We've owned this for just over 4 years and are only selling him due to needing 4 doors and purchasing a countryman cooper s. This has just had the timing chain, clutch (Sachs) and flywheel (Valeo) replaced. This is a major undertaking on one of these as the complete engine & gearbox have to be removed from the vehicle, at a cost of around 2.5k. Oil and filter, anti roll bar bushes ,AC recharge and EGR clean were also carried out whilst the engine was out. The turbo was rebuilt by midland turbo (refused to fit a new cheap replacement as they are absolutely garbage) and fitted with a new feed pipe about 10,000 miles ago. The DPF was cleaned off the car by a specialist at the same time.Essentially, all the expensive, major failure items have been replaced and it should be trouble free motoring! The bodywork is in very good shape for a car of its age and mileage, there's no rust on the rear barn doors which is a common area they go.Usual Hampton refinements.Cruise control.Heated leather seats.Pano sunroof.Bluetooth connectivity.Air conditioning.Xenon headlights.Automatic rear barn door opening.Drives lovely and looks the part for its age. 20 quid road tax, Mot and V5 present.2x Keys and proof of recent works.The wheels could do with a refurb or painting completely black as they do let it down.
