I have owned the VW beetle for the last couple of years. It was bought for my girlfriend as her first car, unfortunately after an injury she now needs an automatic car. The car was serviced last year by myself, I changed the oil and all filters. I have also put new brake discs and pads on the rear and swapped a front headlight in order to pass its recent M.O.T. The car hasn't covered many miles in my ownership as you'll see on the M.O.T history. It is spot on engine wise it does have some age related marks on the body work, but for its age it's in pretty good condition and the mileage is pretty low for 1.9 TDI.The tyres all have a decent amount of tread and the beetle is great on fuel if driven carefully it easily delivers 50+ MPG, the heated seats are both working and a real bonus in winter. I'm not sure if the timing belt has been replaced as the previous owner didn't know when I asked him, but from what I can see the belt looks to be in good condition with no fraying.The only thing that needs to be looked into is the battery loses charge after a few days so I'm assuming the alternator may need refurbishing or replacing.
