This is my late father-in-laws car we have inherited. He purchased it in March 2023 for 3,600 and drove it every day adding just 500 miles on the clock. The previous owner found this super Jag in a barn in 2021 and lovingly restored it, with a massive list of work undertaken, here's the info he gave at time of purchase, including photos of the work. Timing chain guides have been replaced. Rear differential had new oil, which resulted in the entire rear subframe being refurbished at the same time. All worn bushes and bearings have been replaced on the car, including both front wheel bearings. All suspension components have been sandblasted and repainted with rust preventative paint. Interior is in lovely condition, and the cassette radio has been kept but there is a bluetooth cassette tape in there to pair your phone to (or also a 3.5mm jack cassette tape). No warning lights, errors, or any electrical issues whatsoever. Two keys, including the green one that allows Valet mode. Drives superbly, and it's a pleasure to take it anywhere. No problematic rust! It's all been cut out and thicker metal welded in. Full set of new tyres. New brake pads and front discs. Gearbox shifts perfectly in all gears, after a small adjustment to the shifter cable. No more stuck in 1st, or randomly dropping into neutral when waiting at lights or roundabouts. Engine is in fantastic running order. Full service on the engine, with new spark plugs and coils. Gearbox has had a full service, with a new oil and filter. Father-in-law had a 'spray over' done as there were patches in the clearcoat top lacquer layer to make it look more presentable and stop further paint wear. There is some rust under the wheel arches as shown, but nothing 'problematic' as last owner explained. These factors have been taken into account for current price.
