Land rover series III, 2 litre, SWB registered February 1973. One previous owner (my mother) therefore been in the family since new. Reason for sale: now rarely used and needs to go to a good home. Brilliant registration plate for a Land Rover, chosen at sale from a list (as we waited so long for her delivery) MYL 28L. Sales receipt from 1973 and Owner's Manual. Original engine. Galvanised chassis. 4 good tyres plus spare. Petrol tank, exhaust and Radiator renewed 2023. Rear floor replaced, aluminium about 10 years ago. Clutch and gearbox replaced about 10 years ago, bulkhead about 20. Original body work and tow bar. MOT exempt and on the road, advert insisted on a date so disregard. So much fun to drive but not used enough to justify keeping her. Insurance cheap, about 150 pa. She's 51 years old and needs work done as you can see from the photographs. In addition the heater no longer works and following clutch/gearbox replacement she doesn't engage in low ratio. I am aiming to be transparent about her weaknesses, however she is the genuine article and rare to find one that hasn't had numerous owners and/or adaptations. I would like to think she could go to somebody who has a genuine interest in restoring her. I have been driving her for all of the 51 years and am reluctant to let her go.
