1978 VW Camper Van (Rosie) for sale.Quick round up, Rosie is a fantastic bus, we have had lots of fun in her as a family since 2007. She is mechanically sound and a funky bus to look at, she needs a little attention on the body and could do with a new interior, but the old girl is 46 years old now. We are happy to sell her, but don't need to, so please don't reply with silly offers. Rough mileage 30,000 according to the speedo it came with, but who knows. New Engine - Date 19/06/2009 roughly 4000 mileage since installed by Berkshire Bugs at 26347 miles on the clock (I still have the paperwork). Regularly serviced and maintained by SGS Air-cooled, Curdridge, Southampton New Gear Box - Date 02/08/2019 installed by SGS Air-cooled, Curdridge, Southampton with maybe 300 miles since installation (I still have the paperwork). MOT'd every year (despite being exempt, always safety first) and she hasn't failed one for over 6 years - Including July 2024 Any advisories have been addressed in the same year. Last serviced July 2024.She has Funky paintwork, and some rust on body work (see photos) but she is 46 years old. Fully garaged for the last 14 years Mechanically safe and sound as MOT testifies. Body work needs some attention (some rust, window rubbers, missing air vent on roof, etc.). The interior is a mixture of original and DIY maintenance over 45 years. Rosie comes with, with what I think is the original awning (never used or taken out of its bag since I owned it). And a relatively (10 years or so) modern drive on, drive off awning. I also have a full rain cover to throw in, only used a few times over the years. Additional steering lock included. I am more than happy for mechanical inspections to take place (at your cost) at my home, Honest Sale, all questions will be answered honestly.
