This Mazda CX-5 has been carefully cared for since purchase, and will be fully serviced and valeted ahead of sale. Included in the original specification is the safety pack which offers enhanced auto braking front and rear, as well as rear cross traffic and pedestrian alerts and adaptive matrix headlights. To improve connectivity and options for navigation and entertainment, the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interface fitted by a Mazda dealer. Additionally the car benefits from a Blackvue DR750S-2CH front and rear dashcam and power management hard wired, which is approved by all main car insurance companies. The 12V battery was replaced with a higher spec 95Ah Enduroline unit to offer enhanced endurance whilst powering the dash cam in parked mode. The general condition of the vehicle is in line with its age, with minor dents and scratches on the paint work and minor scratches to the interior. The leather seats are in good condition with no worn or cracked leather. Where a car seat was fitted on the rear seat has left the coverings to the ISOFIX slightly open but I is not particularly noticeable. The wheels are in good condition with the front tyres replaced June 2023 with Bridgestone Turanza 6 fitted. Toyo tyres on rear fitted December 2022. All tyres have a good amount of tread left. Over the time I have driven this car, I have thoroughly enjoyed the driving experience which is best described as an SUV that is not an SUV, and the heated seats and steering wheel are highly valuable in the winter. The auto gearbox is by far the best I have driven, with rapid changes but a sporty setup that holds gears to high revs when the accelerator pedal is pressed hard. For those that are new to automatics, the auto hold feature will prevent creep and is auto released when you accelerate. Equally the i-Stop start / stop system is rapid at restarting the engine when either the accelerator is pressed or steering wheel turned.
