When I was looking for a car I didnt want one that had been sat at a dealership with it being the salesman lunch car, or for people to thrash from cold on test drives and not understand how to treat a rare performance car which are limited. I bought this car privately in January 2018 with only 1100 miles on the clock. The previous owner had got a allocation for a Red Focus RS edition, and wanted to change hence only 1100 miles when I bought it. I put 2000 miles on it running it only on super unleaded and as Ford Approved a performance tune by Mountune the 375 package, which added 30 bhp not much just a light tune but it kept the factory warranty, this was done by Ford Preston who were the only approved Ford garage in the north west to buy a Focus RS from at the time and to install the tune. This only consisted of a remap and and a new induction intake. Later that year in 2018 I bought the Mountune Axle back exhaust which again was approved by Ford for customers to fit to not invalidate the warranty. The car sounds perfect, loud in sport mode, quiet in normal mode a must for any Focus RS wanting to keep the warranty. This is the Focus RS you want not a arnold clark special.
