Due to a change in my domestic circumstances, I am reluctantly selling my 1998 Alfa Romeo Spider in zoe yellow.I have owned the car for 11 years, and I have a stack of bills and old documents documenting the 1000s I have spent on this car.The car had a new speedo fitted in 2003 at 64000, according to a hand written note in the service book. I suspect that this may be correct as the first MOT on record is 2006 and shows only 12 000 miles.Then engine and gear box are strong and the engine uses hardly any oil.MOTd till May 2025.The car comes with brand new front shockers and springs, which was an advisory on the MOT.In my ownership it has had, not in any special orderNew rear shockersNew radiator and radiator support bracketNew ignition packsNew clutchNew clutch cylinderFully poly bushed rear endStainless steel cat back sports exhaustAll discs and pads replaced at least twiceThermostat replaced twiceNew rocker cover gasketTotal re-spray during lock downCV boots replacedBad BitsDoes not come with radio/stereoAir con needs regassingThe hood is manual, but the rear plastic window needs replacing. I was intending to replace the whole hood, but covid and then divorce got in the way.There are a few small areas where the paint has suffered and I have tried to show these in the photographs. There is a small dent and wheel arch scrape on the passenger side, courtesy of my ex wife. I have been quoted 500 to get the paint work back to pristine. There is no lacquer peel.
