I bought this car when it was two years old and it has been our second car, used for commuting to work and driving to meetings. As a result, the interior is in very good condition for its age. The carpets are in very good condition, seats in good condition and plastics and trim good too. The boot and parcel shelf are also in good clean condition. It has been driven well and serviced on schedule every time by our local garage. It still drives really well and starts first time, every time. The quality of the Toyota engineering shines through in these Corollas and this is no exception. As well as regular servicing we have done other work to keep it running reliably; Over the last two years this has included a new clutch, brakes, handbrake, battery, rear part of the exhaust and silencer and servicing and re-gassing the aircon. The exterior of the car is not so great, with some rust on the bottom of the driver's door and numerous stone chips and some scratching to the bumpers. The alloys are in good condition. The exterior lights, indicators, etc. all work fine, except for one of the front fog lights which is damaged. The tyres have plenty of tread, including the spare. There are no warning lights showing (and no intermittent warning lights). The stereo and all speakers work well. We replaced the original Toyota stereo with this Sony stereo which has an aux/jack socket on the front which we have used to connect a mobile directly and more recently via a Bluetooth adapter. The car comes with its original three keys - two with remote control and one without. The service history does not go back all the way for the last 20 years but it is extensive.
