I have owned this lovey 306 since 2005 . She is just a good honest car and although you may say high milage my car has been kept in top condition including the engine checked over and new cylinder head gasket including all oil seals renewed at 167575 miles. Body work kept perfect with over two thousand pounds spent on it. Underneath is perfect with no rot at all, it is protected by waxoyl and a salt resistant grease which i did myself. The engine is the bullet proof DW8 engine which i can easly get 60 to 70 mpg . HONESTY = When you look at the MOT you will see 5 advisories which is a load of rubbish, there is no leaking steering rack , the brake pipe is not corroded . Yes all underneath is protected from salt , however the wheels are painted not waxed , as for tyres , they are all good and cracks occure in the best of tyres. To be honest some MOT testers just take a dislike to older cars. HOWEVER if you look at the previous MOT in 2023 there was no advisories at all , so the examiner who was against old cars found 5 things with the car only doing 1127 miles between the MOTs perfetic i say. IF you need another MOT i will be only to pleased to take it again so long as a deposit is given , however look for yourself this car is in fantastic condition and drives well, does what it should do. And also very easy to service your self with no huge garage costs. SO WHY DO I WANT TO SELL THIS CAR. HONESTLY = This car deserves to be in a garage and looked after so it can go to shows in the very near future . I have no garage , and this car deserves better, a lot better. The price i ask reflects the condition and all the work it has had done to it, trust me i will not get what i have paid out over the years , and do not expect to,yes a few miles but look these engines up , it will keep going . I have always used millers diesel aditive which keeps all the jets clean , plus the whole running of the engine clean. I have a few spares to go with it too. I hope there is someone out there to buy my lovely car and give it a garage , and love this car the same as i do.
