I became the owner of this car in 1998. I bought it as a Mini enthusiast. It was an MOT failure. All the work and subsequent servicing was carried out by me, except for the welding which I had done professionally. The car has been kept in my garage all the time and it is in good condition. It passed its MOT in April 2024. It is now classed as an historic vehicle, therefore it does not need any Road Tax or MOT in the future. This Mini is the original Austin, It does not have any modifications. It has only been used for social occasions and very infrequently.
