This is a rare opportunity to get hold of a modern appreciating classic. I have had this car for 10 years and it really has been amazingly reliable, sailing through MOTs with just standard wear and tear. It is now time for someone else to look after it who has more time and tools than myself. Here are all major and minor points so you are aware of condition before viewing (price is based on taking all these into account) GOOD: It has 12 months MOT, brand new clutch, fantastic engine and gearbox (gear change feels like new, and my mechanic wants the engine for his golf!) 3 keys, CD player, AC. I have always serviced it (but not kept many receipts as I never thought I would sell it). BAD (AND UGLY): It does have rust bubbling in a couple of places, will need a battery and 3 tyres at some point (I haven't replaced these so you can choose quality according to your budget), Engine management light is on, but this is common on golfs of this age, and I think it is just a hole in a air hose, drivers seat needs attention, very small chip in screen, age related marks (only real dent in front passenger wheel arch on photo).
