I'm reluctantly selling my 2004 Colour Storm in Misano Red pearlescent. Its been very reliable and has never let me down. Even though its high mileage its been properly looked after and maintained. It's done 149k and has a full service history. Spec includes an Open Sky Sunroof that has been upgraded/modified replaced and is fully functioning - lots of OSS on A2s that I see advertised no longer work as they can be expensive to fix. Supposedly the original OSS has a design weakness that means most will fail unless they're regularly used and maintained. As soon as mine started to show signs of problems I got it fixed and modified.I've owned the car since April 2017 and its had a full service every year from 2017, except in 2020 with Covid etc. I've also had the timing belts changed in 2018 and Feb 2023 when the water pump was also changed.I have also had an LPG system fitted which gives about 70mpg equivalent running costs making this A2 better than the diesel versions. (Hopefully that doesn't upset too many TDI owners)Just had 2 new front tyres fitted - Falken Ziex. Rear Tyres have 6.5mm tread and are also Falken Ziex. The Roll Bar Drop Links have also been replaced along with a CV joint earlier in the year (after the recent MOT) also had BOTH front wheel bearings replaced in the last 2 months, new OEM egr valve and rear brake linings replaced.
