I had a golf exactly like this car 20 years ago and a couple of years ago I decided I wanted another so bought this car.Since I've had the car I have fitted new Bosch discs and pads all round. All 4 shock absorbers have been replaced as have a lot of the front suspension parts. It has 4 matching Goodyear tyres with less than 2000 miles .I have a folder full of receipts from over the years.. The service book has many stamps most of them from VW or VW specialists.The haldex was serviced this year with the correct VW oil and filter. I serviced the engine this year with Bosch spark plugs and Bosch filters . I used Castrol oil. The battery was replaced last year.The aircon has been regassed and a new pressure switch fitted. Now blows nice and cold.It has a black leather interior which is still looking very smart. The body and paint is very good for its age it does have a few age related marks. The car drives very well with its 2.8 engine and 4 wheel drive. Only selling as I'm not using it much.
