As the Performance Pack variant, this gets Golf R brakes, Limited slip diff and 220bhp as standard. This also has the fantastic dynamic chassis control (DCC) electronic dampers with selectable ride settings, paired with Racingline 30mm springs for amazing ride quality, handling and stance on standard 18s over 20/15mm spacers to bring the wheels out flush. This is the absolute best platform to tune as already built to take more power, handle and stop better than the standard 200bhp gti. Revo Stage 1 ECU and TCU really bring this to life, and makes around 320bhp (Revo figures). Massive open cone, oversized intake pipe and elbow, along with real carbon fibre air scoop give it a bit more air to breathe and a little bit better throttle response. Rear resonator has been replaced with a no-drone pipe so has a bit more character to the soundtrack , as these are generally very disappointing on exhaust tone as standard. Just had thermostat housing and water pump replaced, which is the main failure on these engines. DSG box was serviced last year and operates faultlessly in all drive modes thanks to the TCU map. 8 services in the book plus receipts. MOT to Sept 2025.
