Full service history with a lot of paperwork. MOT due 2nd November 2024. Good points: car is solid with no rattles and great handling. Body work in good condition with no obvious rust at all. Mk4 is a classic model these days, easy to service for those in the know and should last for years to come with the right tlc. Bad points: needs new rear callipers, brake discs and pads (all reasonably cheap parts but expensive labour). Turbo charger needs a new timing solenoid to fire properly, so runs more like a 1.2 litre engine than a 1.9 at present. Clutch OK but probably needs replacement in a few thousand more miles. Quirks: previous owner replaced the dashboard, so mileage shown is incorrect. Remote central locking works for all but driver door, so need key to open (car has two remote key fobs). Rear windscreen wiper doesn't work. A couple of small chips on front windscreen, but repair will be covered by insurance. Previous owner fitted alloy wheels, but with Audi logos instead of VW. I don't have the tools or expertise to get this car to where it could be, but it would be perfect for a hobbyist or an enthusiast. It's a 23 year old car, but there are still loads of them on the road, which shows just what a top quality model it is. Next MOT due 02/11/2024, Black, 3 owners, £550
