I'm reluctantly selling my beloved Series III 88". This classic has a unique history, having spent a significant time in Italy where the previous owner installed a 2.4L Iveco diesel engine and used it primarily for hunting. The seats and power steering assembly are also from Iveco/Fiat. I brought it back to the UK with the intention of restoring it to its former glory. Here are the parts that have already been replaced: Dumpers, Brake Shoes, Brake Master and Slave Cylinders, Brake Braided Hoses, Swivel Pin Kit, Wheel Bearings, Shift Lever, Lubricants. The vehicle starts and runs, but the engine is currently losing power. I recommend swapping it for a more common Land Rover TD series engine. The chassis and body are both still solid, featuring a unique patina. Unfortunately, other projects have taken priority, so I need to let this one go. License plates and V5 are not visible but present. I'm open to offers but no trades, please. Collection only, as the vehicle is not drivable as it is and currently on SORN.
