Description
Here is my VW T5.1 Transporter Highline Kombi van. This is a very rare vehicle and i spent a couple of years looking for this exact specification. I have owned it since 2016 but now it is time to move on. This would make an ideal chassis for a camper conversion, something i was planning to do but never got around to it. It ticks all of the boxes that anyone would look for when searching for one of these vehicles. It has the larger 180bhp Bi-turbo engine which has plenty of power.Cambelt and water pump changed in 2020 @ 33770 miles by VW Bristol.DSG gearbox with paddle shifters on steering wheel. (standard for this model)4Motion 4 wheel drive systemLWB chassis for extra lengthT32 chassis to handle any added camper conversion weightVery low mileage for it's age at only 36300!Rear barn doors with glass windows instead of a tailgate (very rare)Aside from all of the factory added highline features, it also has a Witter removable towbar which was fitted by VW when the van was new. This is supplied with it's locking keys.Black leather interior which is like new. It gives the seats a sportline type look to them.Added tinted glass windows to the rear section. This is just covering over the panel so it is not a window, it's just to make the side of the vehicle look complete.Black roof from factory.Factory options include:RNS310 Navigation unit with Bluetooth handsfree.Exterior package which gives black handles and mirrors.Side opening windows in rearCruise control.Air conditioning.Leather steering wheelFront and rear parking sensors. It has just had an MOT (August) and passed with only advisories for the age of the tyres and numberplates. (I was going to replace them but expect the new owner would want to put their own choice of wheels and tyres on anyway). It just shows the little mileage this vehicle has done in my ownership. I have just fitted a new set of numberplates. The paperwork i have show the last few services were done at VW in Bristol. It's due it's next service in a couple of months. It even comes with a VW pen and brand new umbrella. The bodywork is very good for its age. There are a few marks on the rear bumper as expected. A couple of the wheels could do with a refurb. In the rear a couple of the wooden panels have a few marks and holes, but this wouldn't matter for a camper conversion.Overall it's in excellent condition and would make an ideal camper conversion for someone that has the time. Next MOT due 18/08/2025, Long wheel-base, White, 5+ owners, £25,995, No VAT
