Description
Bentley Mark VI 1951 This historic vehicle was one of the first cars to be created by Rolls-Royce after World War Two! The classic black and ivory colours complement the style of this vehicle beautifully. The landaulet design of the Bentley Mark VI makes it perfect for sunny days. The Bentley Mark IV has an nostalgic history that commends the first of the Classic Bentley hire cars which was made between 1946 -1952. It also was the first complete Bentley that was finished in their factory inherently having issues with the steel used to make them to to the post war laws. Closely based on the pre-war Mark V, it was offered with a factory-built Standard Steel body designed by J.P. Blatchley, who later became Bentley's first design chief at Crewe. Sales of the Mark VI far outstripped those of any pre-war Bentley, with 4, 001 examples produced, of which 3, 171 were Standard Steel models. For its age the vehicle is in great condition, a real piece of history too which NMG feels extremely lucky to have the chance of selling this car. A true collectors item.
