A beautiful Audi A5 with rare 'Cognac' interior that I am devastated to have to sell. I noticed an intermittent issue (4-5 times in the last 6 months) when reversing up a gradient where the car would struggle and pop out of gear. My mechanic has said this is a fault with the mechatronic gearbox and would be 2-3k to repair, depending on whether you could find someone to repair it or needed to replace. He also discovered a leak in the coolant system, which would be 1k to repair. As I am due to be made redundant before the end of the year, I was going to sell the car in the next few months anyway to get something a little less fun and a little less pretty, but the required repairs have accelerated this as I don't have the funds to complete the work.
