Here I have for sale my wife's BMW 420D Convertible, which we're selling due to replacing with a 320D touring for carrying dogs around. Owned (outright, no finance) since August 2023 and we have covered around 15K miles in it since. It was bought from Marshall in Scunthorpe as a Marshall Approved vehicle and has been well looked after during its life. 2 working remote keys, Xenon lights, Heated electric front seats with driver memory, Hot air scarf, Heated steering wheel, BMW wind deflector included, Fully working ice cold climate control, Fully working watertight electric roof, Cruise control, Remote roof opening and closing module fitted (open and close from the remote key), Auto-folding mirrors, Extended lighting pack and leather pack, Auto-dimming mirrors internally and externally, DVD player, CD changer, navigation, DAB, FM radio, Parking sensors front and rear, Good tyres all round (all Bridgestone, rears fitted less than 100mi ago). It has great service history shown in iDrive and a full book pack. I have just changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, and pollen filter (13/10/24). Obviously I cannot update iDrive history but will provide copy of the receipt for all the filters and oil. I was going to change the fuel filter but it was changed at purchase so doesn't need doing yet; I will include the spare fuel filter in the sale. Two advisories on MOT this year for rear tyres which have been replaced with new Bridgestones. MOT expiry date is 15th June 2025. Everything on the car works perfectly. Interior is in great condition. Even the handbrake works properly. No battery issues/IBS issues - can be left weeks and will start fine! The car drives beautifully with plenty of power and the ZF 8-speed gearbox is smooth and quiet. Averages 50MPG and will do 60MPG on a long trip. The car is used regularly for long journeys so no DPF or EGR concerns. Steering and suspension alignment are spot on, brakes work great, no unpleasant noises, judders or movement. We purchase our cars to use, not to polish - so it's not detailed to within an inch of its life or machine polished and there are marks here and there.
