This immaculately kept example Citroen C5 Tourer elegently appointed in this Bourrasque Blue Metallic, with an unblemmished Mistral 'Fyber' Cloth interior which boasts the optional 'sports style seats' which are comfortable yet are not aggressively figure hugging along with its exquisite ride quality on long commutes to work or on long road trips as I have the pleasure of appreciating for the last 12,000 miles and a few long road trips around the country and a volumenous and cavernous boot. During the 12k miles an average range/tank of around 750mi with highs of 981 miles (with picture proof) were reached so averaging between 48-62 mpg and always run on shell fuel with redex diesel system cleaner used every 3k-4k. Its been a faithfull companion during my ownership, Im certain it will be for its next eager owner. It had 8 service stamps in the servicebook prior to my ownership adding a further 2 during my ownership: @116256 a major service was to be carried on the C5 that also included a new cambet and tensioner prior to me collecting the car this was also stamped and recorded in the service book. Since then around 9,000 miles later ( @ ~125,000miles ) It went in for its 1st required service in my ownership at Wilmoths Citroen in Winchester during which it had its Major service: Oil flush and filter change, Coolant flush and change, Eloys service ( in which the tank and pump were replaced and the fluid was re-filled and the ecu was reset), preventative maintainence: it also a suspension overall which included left and right lower suspension bushes and arms replaced as a pair along with some new lower balljoints. Other servicing items that were carried out outside of regular scheduled servicing was the replacement of the drivers side CV Boot and regreasing of the joint as it had split due to wear and tear. In its second service I had asked Wilmoths Citroen to carried out its required annual full inspection of the C5 to ensure that everything inorder, unfortunately they discovered that a leaking gasket around the casing that houses 5th gear, so it meant that the syncros on 5th had worn slightly although it engage and disengaged as normal the was slight vibration noted during the test drive. This was then followed by a full gearbox overhaul which meant a new 5th syncro gearset, all the seals/gaskets&oil flush/change were replaced. MOT due 12/01/2025.
