Description

Thank you for viewing this advert for the sale of my A3 Quattro S-Line Special Edition. Straight to the details. BAD POINTS: The central locking DOES NOT work with the buttons on the key fob but it DOES work with the physical key in the lock and turning it and also with the button inside the car. The car only has the one key. Rear wash and wipe DOES work but the motor is a bit weak. Passenger window DOES go up and down when the switch is pressed but can sometimes be a bit sticky on the way back up. Being an older car, it does have age related marks and light scratches in the paint as to be expected and there are patches where the paint could do with being flattened back and spraying in the correct colour. It has never bothered me as the metal underneath is still strong and well... it is an older car. There is a small dent in the boot door and a crack in the rear bumper, I'm not sure when this happened but they are there so I needed to list them. Small plastic towing eye cover for the front bumper is missing and the plastic pull handle to tilt the drivers seat to get in the back is also missing but the lever still works properly and the seat still tilts forwards and goes back again easily. There is a minor blow in the centre exhaust flexi as stated on the last MOT. I only have the printouts from it's last two MOTs and the V5C (in my name) from when I bought the car around 18 months ago and NO other paperwork. GOOD POINTS: I have used the car near daily, 5-6 days a week to and from work covering around 40 miles per day for the last 18 months I've owned it plus some longer trips across the country here and there as needed. I'm only selling it due to buying a newer model and not really needing two cars anymore, I still occasionally use it to keep everything moving and the battery topped up. I've only ever run it on Shell V-Power as that's the only fuel I trust in my cars. It's had new discs, pads and a brake fluid change around 100,000. Engine flush, fresh oil, oil filter, fuel filter and spark plugs around 105,000. Cam follower replaced along with new bolts and seal around 98,000. Haldex serviced with new oil and filter and control unit professionally remanufactured around 110,000. Newish tyres - approx 6mm tread front and rear. Test drives welcome upon proof of insurance and licence or I will be driving, I'm sure you understand. I've valued it at what I think it's worth based on age, mileage and condition. Thank you for your interest and for reading! Next MOT due 14/04/2025, No service history, Black, 5+ owners, £1,849
