This car was bought from Valley Garage, Stroud in 1984 when it was one year old with 11,000 miles on the clock. Then kept as a second car - my daily driver being a company car (Ford Escort) hence the low mileage. For the most of it's life it was only taxed and used for 6 months April/1st October. It is now logged with DVLA as Historic so needs no tax or MOT, just has to be kept roadworthy. The car was Waxoyled 25 years ago in Mitcheldean and this has kept it very solid underneath. Garage mechanic/Tyre fitters say how remarkable the condition is. A new Capri Club exhaust has recently been fitted. Any parts replaced have been retained eg tailgate gas struts.
