Description
Here we have my much loved 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo, six-speed manual with an absolutely impeccable service history. Finished in Artic Silver with extended Metropole blue leather this car looks stunning. I viewed several Turbos before deciding on this one and its clean bodywork, originality, the perfect way it drives and the comprehensive history (which I've added to) made it stand out from the rest. This 996 has wanted for nothing regarding servicing and maintenance and you can see the 21 service stamps in the pictures. This month the car has just had a 1,400-pound major service including a brake fluid change plus a new fuel pump, and in the last couple of years this car has benefitted from having the following works completed: new clutch; new water pump; new exhaust straps; CV joints; new drive belt. There is also a packed folder of receipts and invoices from day one that make for interesting reading if you're into that kind of thing (I am!). What I particularly liked about the history of this car was the fact that it had the same owner from 2007 until 2021, so when the values of these amazing cars dipped around ten years ago and many new owners couldn't afford their full running costs, this example had the guys at Paragon carefully looking after it. I was lucky enough to drive one of these cars back in the early Noughties when it was new and this car still feels as fresh. There are no knocks, rattles or untoward noises - it's just as Porsche intended. The condition of the car is excellent with no dents or corrosion and only a few very minor stone chips on the front bumper. The rear spoiler also works perfectly. Spec-wise the 911 comes with a sunroof, climate control, CDR 32 CD-Radio with CD changer, aluminium gearshift/handbrake, electric sports seats, Michelin Pilot Sport tyres all round, electric windows and mirrors. The only negative points I know on the car are a small chip on the windscreen (it is not in the drivers eye line) and there is the tiniest bit of corrosion showing on the edge of the exhaust tips. It's never been enough to bother me hence why I haven't replaced them but I thought I should mention it. The MOT is valid until March 2025 and the private numberplate, T33UBO, which I added last year could come with the car if the deal is right. I am in no rush to sell this car so won't accept any silly offers and have only decided to sell as I miss the fresh air option of a Porsche cabrio. Please message or call if you have any questions. Next MOT due 06/03/2025, Silver, 5+ owners, £38,000
