Description
**just spent 470 on a new thermostat after EML came on, proving that the car is well looked after and problems are sorted** A rare vehicle for sure. Find another in Cubanite Silver, then one with lovely brown nappa leather, then one with AMG factory kit AND then add the ultra rare AMG quad exhaust! I've certainly not seen another like it. To top it off it's just had the rear subframe replaced by Mercedes for full piece of mind (if you're looking at an SLK of this age you have to find one where this is done already or you'll be paying the 5k+ bill yourself in the near future!). Look at the spec sheet it really has all the must haves. Air scarf (seriously wouldn't buy one without this feature), heated memory seats, cruise control, climate control, steering wheel paddle buttons, full Command system for sat nav, telephone, Bi-Xenon auto lights, auto wipers, parking sensors front and rear the list just goes on and on. So many of these, even under the 350 model, are poverty spec missing necessary features like the air scarf or heated seats that you need in this type of car..... But not this one. It's even surprisingly economical, I've averaged 26mpg on mixed driving and regularly get mid thirties on a motorway run and yet when you put your foot down you get all the power from the big v6. It is an 18 year old car so it isn't perfect but everything works as it should, including the roof, with the bodywork being straight and looking fantastic for its age, it just has a slight mark on front bumper and some weather aging on the bumper. Alloys were recently refurbished, although annoyingly rear left picked up a small nick a few days later. Car has good history, recent tyres and mot till April 25 so basically get in and drive for the summer. Please don't confuse this with other boring black and silver slks without the AMG alloys, body kit, suspension and THAT quad exhaust, this is the one to have. Next MOT due 09/04/2025, Silver, 4 owners, £4,395
