Presented for sale is my cherished Mazda MX5 Phoenix 1.8 Litre, 2002 Mark 2.5 Owned since March 2011 and continually garaged when not being driven. First Registered May 2002. Only 4 owners prior to my purchase (with one being the supplying dealer) Less than 24,000 recorded miles (with fewer than 6,000 during my ownership) Mot valid to 29 October 2025 (excellent continuous history with no current advisories) Annual oil & filter changes and routine maintenance by owner with any additional work undertaken by specialists. EG This year:Mazda Dudes Darlington: 26/06/2024, (cost 1,256 GBP.) Replacement of all four springs and dampers + Replacement of Camshaft timing belt, water pump & anti-freeze. Has newly refurbished 15" original wheels. With four new Goodyear tyres 195x50x15 fitted at 23,455 miles on 10/07/2024, followed by Kwik-Fit laser alignment of all wheels, total cost 380 GBP. Extremely good condition inside and out: Interior truly remarkable, with the upholstery professionally recovered in black leather prior to my ownership. Apparently, the previous owner disliked the original brown trim. Paintwork unmarked with the exception of a few small paint blemishes around the wheel arch edges (see photos). Considered to be too minor for previous repair with no deterioration noted over the past 12 months. The hard top, included with the sale, is finished in high gloss black lacquer is unmarked and has been fitted to the car for the bulk of my ownership, thus protecting the soft top which is in near original condition. Both soft top and hard top have heated rear screens. Other features: Finished in Mazda Mica Titanium Grey. Factory fitted front fog lights. Heated seats. Protective cover for soft top frame when folded down. Chrome door mirrors electrically operated. Engine, clutch and transmission considered in extremely good order and to my knowledge all completely original. I believe this is an exceptional and genuine low mileage car and I am reluctantly parting with it because a new car has created a shortage of current storage space.
