Description
Hello, man outside his comfort zone here. I'm into restoring classic german cars from the 1980's & 1990's. However, when I was offered this car, I knew that I wanted it, and now here it is for sale. Its a very odd one as it has factors strongly for it, then of course the Category N marker against it. It really does need to be taken in by the Subaru enthusiast community in my opinion. So, its rare because its a 2.5 Legacy GT Symmetrical AWD Auto but is Turbo, which I am struggling to find a similar car on the open market. I did find one from an import site and it was 10k. This car also has a huge diameter HKS Silent Hi Power exhaust which I think is around 2 grands worth on its own. (Please see video). It has done 60,000 miles, has a massive history from Japan with it, it was last serviced with Mobil 1 oil about 6,000 miles ago. Its got Michelin Pilot Sport Tyres which purport to be filled with nitrogen. I took it to one of the leading specialists, East Kent Subaru for inspection & they were blown away by it and told me all of the above. As you can see, you can eat your dinner off the underside - for a 2009 vehicle it's incredible. The Cat N marker is the OSF headlight and wing and bumper corner (pics available). You can see that someone has repaired it with a 2nd hand headlight though which is a shame as its slightly misted compare to the other one. The paint however is first class. Anyway, it goes like a rocket and its glued to the road, I may keep it, (I'm a keyholder at a classic car barn so if I do it will into storage over winter), but equally I am happy to sell it. Please do get in touch, I will try to answer any questions that you have to the best of my ability & can consult if I don't know the answer. Actually, I ought to run a competition and make it free to the person who can guess how many times I have unnecessarily wiped the windscreen and failed to signal when turning left! With all best wishes. Next MOT due 03/06/2025, Silver, 3 owners, £7,000
