Description
There's 8 stamps in the service book. I've got some receipts for more recent work. MOT end of March 2025. The camshaft drive belt was renewed during the April 2023 service. The car was stored for 10 years from 2011-21. I bought the car privately 6 months ago. With a Honda engine it's very reliable. It still has the original dealer plates. There's two Rover keys. Rover 600s are becoming rare now This 618is is 1 of only 23 still on the road. The features are p.a.s, alarm, immobiliser, electric front windows and sunroof, front fog lights, abs. The Rover radio/cassette player display and clock doesn't work. The radio has been decoded. The leather/cloth upholstery is in very good condition. The headliner is sagging slightly above the back of the rear seats. It's an excellent runner and as expected ultra reliable because of the Honda engine. It's smooth and powerful. A lovely drive! It's mechanically sound with absolutely no problems. The previous owner mentioned that it was undersealed last winter with quality Buzzweld products. The paint and bodywork Is generally in very good condition with absolutely no rust on the sills or in the wheel arches. However there are some small marks on the o/s rear corner of the roof These were caused during the storage period. There's two small shallow dents with scratches and two other small scratches. There's also a mark on the rear window as well as some surface scratches. These were also caused during storage. There's a type of blister on the bodywork near the exhaust and some paint chips on the front of the bonnet. Finally some of the weather stripping has degraded and has left an uneven outer edge although the edge next to the windows is secure. Contact Michael for more information and extra photos. I'm in South Shields NE34 post code. For anyone who may be interested inspections and test drives would be no problem. Next MOT due 22/03/2025, Blue, 5+ owners, £995
