Description
This is a VW Match model, which I believe includes a few extras, like electric windows up front (quite the luxury!). The car's been in our family from new, transferred between my family and a friend who had it last (we have all the logbooks documenting its history). It's been a reliable little car with low mileage, though it has a few typical VW quirks. The central locking works when it feels like it, so we've disconnected it in the boot and leave that unlocked. All the doors open and close fine; I've just oiled and greased everything, so there's no trouble with them. If you're inclined, there are plenty of forums on fixing the central locking, but we've managed fine for the last five years.A few years back, I upgraded the stereo to a Sony with Apple CarPlay (it also supports Android via Bluetooth). The paintwork was in top shape until our friend started using a local car wash with strong detergents, which wore down the lacquer on the roof (shown in the last photos). There's also a small ding on the offside wing, which I've captured in one of the later pictures. In the last 18 months, it's had new front shocks, discs, and pads fitted. The original BBS alloy wheels are still on, though the paint has faded a bit and could use a refreshthey still look nice from a distance. The offside rear light seal has worn down a bit (likely due to the same car wash) and lets a small amount of water into the boot.I've tried to show all the good bits and the flaws in the photos. Priced to sell. Next MOT due 16/04/2025, Blue, 3 owners, £1,300
