Description

Reluctantly selling my beautiful 2007 Jaguar XJ Sport Premium 2.7 TDVI112,300 milesMOT until March 25Has plenty of service history including injector fuel pump and belts done in 2023 costing over 1000Very good spec with heated/cooled seatsSat NavDual climate control / heated screenauto lights, auto dimming mirrors, auto wipers etcRear sunblindCruise control and ASL and best combination of paint and white ivory interior20 inch BBS alloysEngine pulls brilliant and starts up every time doesn't burn oil or use water etc.THINGS TO KNOW - I just want to give full clarity on what I know is wrong with the car, I am probably underselling it but want to be honest.I put it through an MOT in March where it had track rod ends, rear brake calipers, rear tyres and a full service which cost a fortune. It has only done a few hundred mile since the MOT in March. It decided shortly after the MOT to put on an amber air suspension light and then ABS/DSC warning light, a garage did a diagnostic and said it was likely a wheel speed sensor for the ABS/DSC light, the air suspension fault could be the pump on its way out as it kicks in at low speed, a height sensor or there was some module needing replaced and reprogrammed.I couldn't afford or wait for the garage to try each fix due to needing a car for daily hospital visits. I had to park it up and get a cheap run around. I was worried I would make it worse so was parked up since April. I haven't been able to get back to it since and don't have the time or resources to sort. There is a coolant leak which is very random, it may not happen for days, weeks or months, but seems to happen after a long day of use or a lot of traffic on a hot day for example. It will lose about half a litre of coolant and then stop at a certain level in the header tank it's visible under the car so isn't an internal engine leak for. A garage pressure tested it but didn't lose pressure, headgasket is fine. Thought to be a seal on one of the hoses/connectors. It has a slight leak of oil from the diff.Cruise control doesn't work thought it's linked to air suspension fault or ABS/DSC fault.Has two brand new rear number plate lamps to go with it as one of the covers is missing.Alloy wheels could do with a refurb, the brackets on the grill have cracked so is fixed in with ties.Scuff on rear bumper after the neighbour kindly scuffed it, looks like it would probably clean up with some spirits and TLC. Next MOT due 22/03/2025, Black, 5+ owners, £3,500
