I have for sale my Jaguar XK8. I have owned this car for just over 1 year and bought to enjoy on car journeys with friends which has been great (around Scotland, North England, Lake District) however my unrealistic thoughts of spending happy hours on her "tinkering" has not come to pass and realistically with a young family is unlikely to happen. Much to the dismay of my kids (and elation of my wife) the car is now for sale.The good bits Timing Chain Tensioners have been carried out in my ownership - I have the invoice as evidence. The car has been extensively "restored" by a Jaguar enthusiast and I can share photos and videos of his work which was unbelievable. This was the reason I bought this particular car as rust issues and many other common faults have been fixed. I recently purchased two new tyres and the garage commented on the excellent condition underneath. It comes with an extensive service history with its last service just two months ago MOT until August 2025 Gearbox service this month No lights on the dash All 4 tyres have plenty of tread (2 at the front replaced by me with Pirelli) Has always been on trickle charge in my ownership Comes with a good quality car cover (from Classic Car Additions and not a cheap eBay version) Everything works as far as I am aware, for example the CD changer, folding mirrors, retractable aerial No sagging headliner No rust around the bodywork except the back passenger wheel arch The not so good bits are the paintwork needs TLC, the Alloys could do with a refurb, the Leather interior needs refurbing, The LCD display on the stereo has bled. It is still fully operational but tricky to read In short, I think this car would make a good addition for someone who has the time to bring her back up to speed cosmetically which I had hoped to do.
