No expense has been spared to keep this VW Tiguan in tip-top condition mechanically, as we needed to make sure it could cope with everything our "country roads" could throw at it, including snow, ice, floods and mud (lots of mud)! Over the last 15 months or so, over 8K has been spent to replace anything and everything that needed attention (and the bills to prove it come with the car). Sure, there probably are cheaper VW Tiguans of similar age and mileage available, but it is doubtful few (if any) come with such a solid maintenance history, including cam belt and water pump replacement, tyres, suspension, brakes - even a new rear door lock - and you may end up having to pay for these items later. The windscreen and "Start/Stop" battery have also been recently replaced. Of course, it also comes with all the refinements and features that are standard on this model, including DAB/FM radio, CD, Bluetooth phone and audio, plus auxiliary audio connections, Start/Stop, auto brakes on (great for those awkward hill-starts!), a proper "Get You Home" spare tyre, auto lights, adjustable auto wipers, illuminated vanity mirrors, sunglasses holder, rear seat trays, electric windows all round, adjustable headlights, dimmable dash, steering wheel controls, dual zone aircon, adjustable steering wheel, etc., etc.. The only "bad" bit (and it isn't all that bad) is a small, vertical dent on the rear of the car, which you can see in the photos. Other than that, the body and paintwork is in really good condition all round. The VW Tiguan is a good, solid, reliable car and this one is a great example.
