Plastic pipes over time heat and become brittle allowing air leaks, the ONLY way to sort this is to remove the engine and have the plastic pipes that run on top of the gearbox and up the back of the engine replaced. The cost of this starts at £5,000 and that’s before any other work being carried out is done while the engine is out. This vehicle is under serious restoration to ensure all issues are sorted and will be sold as close to showroom condition as possible.
