2000 Land Rover Defender 90 TD5 hardtop, low miles, 4 owners from new, 96k genuine miles, full service history, lots of new and uprated parts. I've owned this vehicle for just over a year but before this a good friend owned it for around 6 years. He purchased it as a standard honest survivor vehicle from a retired doctor who owned it for around 15 years. Over the 6 years of ownership it was serviced it annually regardless of the miles covered and he went through the truck with the following parts replaced, uprated or renewed, there are receipts for everything. Full brake overhaul all round with new parts and new brake lines. Bulkhead repaired and painted to a high standard. LOF clutch and flywheel. Serck fast road intercooler and silicone hoses. EGR delete and Storm Tuning stage 2 remap. Brit part heavy duty shocks all round. Galvanised rear spring seats and straps. Exhaust replaced. Galvanised shock turrets. Wolf wheels and 235/85/16 Cooper Discoverer S/T tyres that have covered less than 2k miles. Mountney heritage steering wheel and much more with receipts for everything. In my ownership I have undertaken a professional full chassis strip and refresh, this resulted in having a brand new rear 1/3 chassis fitted, the whole chassis etch primed, treated with rust converter and 3 coats of stone chip. A new fuel tank tray, galvanised tank guard and new fuel filter assembly. A replacement rear axle ball joint and new rear axle brake pipes along with new front to rear brake pipe. New rubber exhaust mounts and new front mud flaps. It's had new stainless mudflap brackets and front inner arch mud deflectors to protect the bulkhead. I have also fitted an expensive set of Optimil security door hinges. Full Service completed on 31/10/24 including renewing all filters, engine oil, sump bung washer, all levels checked and everything greased. It is fitted with an immobiliser and has 2 sets of keys. Mechanically this Defender is spot on with all the big jobs done and future proofed. Body work is very good for its age but is showing signs of wear in areas, this would be my next job if I was keeping the defender. Any inspection welcome, this is a very solid and well maintained example with under 100k miles on the clock. Will be sold on original number plate W428 NAL with 12 months MOT.
