At its launch in late Spring 2011 the MG 6 was given rather a cool reception from the "motoring press". It has stood the test of time though; it has proved to be a perfectly 'decent' car. Many owners describe their enjoyment of driving the car and there are numerous Internet articles which portray the model in a more objective light. This early example - first registered in August 2011 - is for sale with ten months M.O.T. It passed its most recent test without any work being necessary and three of the four highlighted "advisories" have been dealt with. It has been treated with respect throughout my ownership; overnight it has been kept under a carport or in a garage and whenever any work has been necessary it has been done immediately, almost-always by the same garage. (I have a folder with all receipts and other relevant documents and this will go with the car at the sale). I believe initially the car was a 'demonstrator' and in recent years due to ill-health use of the car has been less than formerly. As a result the mileage is much less than one might expect from a thirteen-year-old car.The specification of the car is very-much as it was when it left the factory. The only modification is that it has 18 inch alloy wheels taken from a TSE model. Two of these wheels have new tyres (addressing issues recorded as "advisories" at the MOT).Mechanically the car is in excellent condition. The interior and exterior are as one would expect from a car of its age; there are superficial and minor scuffs the new owner may choose to address or leave as they are -as I have. At 1900 I believe this increasingly-rare car offers tremendous value for money and in my opinion for anyone looking for this type of car its sale is an opportunity not to be missed.
