Description
I purchased the car in December 2015 from a shop in Bedford. I understood that the previous owner had no accidents or major issues. I used it for 1.5 years before it was stored in Cambridge, where it has remained since then. In general, there have been no problems with the car, and although I haven't used it, it passed its MOT in 2023 without any issues. I can give you a web site for the MOT.. The BMW 760Li will be powered by an all new 5,972cc twin-turbochargedV12 engine and be the first BMW production car to feature the marque's neweight-speed automatic transmission, offering outstanding levels of performanceand refinement in the premium segment. At its heart, the new all-aluminium V12 engine produces 544hp at 5,250rpm and750 Nm of torque from just 1,500rpm through to 5,000rpm, delivering over 100hpand 150 Nm of torque more than the previous model. This equates to a zero to62mph time of 4.6 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph - aperformance which eclipses many sports cars, yet delivered with effortlesstranquillity.Model: BMW 760LiPower Hp / @rpm / Torque Nm / @rpm / Zero - 62mph Secs / Top Speed Mph544 / 5,250 / 750 / 1,500-5,000 / 4.6 / 155** Electronically-limitedHelping to transfer such prodigious performance to the road is a neweight-speed automatic transmission offering effortless in-gear performance. Theunique eight speed configuration is achieved without gaining in size or weightover the former traditional six-speed transmission. This innovativearrangement, incorporating four simple gearsets and five gear change elements, ensures that only two clutches are open in each gear at any one time, significantly reducing frictional losses.BMW's new V12 engine is the first twelve-cylinder unit ever to use twin-turbotechnology, Bi-VANOS variable valve technology and high-precision directinjection technology, with piezo controlled fuel injectors ensuring the optimumin fuel efficiency and combustion characteristics. As a result the powerplantsurpasses EU5 emissions standards and is over five per cent more fuel efficientthan the model it replaces.Like every new BMW currently on sale, the new BMW 760Li features elements ofBMW's award-winning EfficientDynamics programme fitted as standard. BrakeEnergy Regeneration, on-demand delivery of the air-conditioning and the volumeflow control of the hydraulic fluid in the steering all serve to improve fuelconsumption.
