E39 BMW 525d Auto SE. March 2001 (facelift). 131,200 miles. MOT until 15/06/2025. For sale is our fabulous E39 525d that we're only selling due to having company cars. The car is Topaz Blue and SE specification with additional optional equipment: Steptronic automatic gearbox, fully fitted tow bar, front & rear parking sensors, climate comfort windscreen, front armrest, BMW 6CD changer, auto-dimming rear view mirror etc. The car has had only 2 previous owners before me and has a full BMW Service history up until 115k miles (after which I took over and have done it properly). I have addressed all the common E39 faults such as; both thermostats replaced, EGR fully de-coked, swirl flaps removed, new vacuum lines, headlight adjusters replaced and a new ABS modulator. All of the above, and more, is fully documented with receipts. The other main issue with these cars is rust, and there is some on the surface of the car, however it is all superficial and areas such as the jacking points are clean and clear of rust. However as a precaution I removed the sill covers and injected Dinitrol cavity wax into the sill sections to prevent any further rust propagation. The car is a fantastic example of BMW at their peak.
