1985 Mini Mayfair 6,495 ONO Contact Mark on 07979-601293 We purchased the Mini in October 2002 from the original owner who purchased the vehicle new in December 1985. We have all the original purchase documents which will come with the car. We planned to keep this car for as long as my wife was able to drive but unfortunately she can no longer drive a manual vehicle and we don't have the facilities or finances to convert the car to an automatic so regretfully we have to sell it When we purchased the car it had only done 4,460 miles. It then used the car as my wife's daily for the next 12 years at which time it was taken off the road for a full bare metal respray. At this time it was fully epoxy primed and cavity waxed. It was painted in 2k Iris Blue. Some performance modifications were carried out at the same time including fitting with Corsa B adjustable electric power steering. It has now done 59,881 miles and is MOT'd until 20/08/2025. It is in extremely good condition with a few small age related marks. It will provide the new owner with years of trouble free motoring as it has us. The car has been used on many trips around England, Scotland and Wales and is very well known in the Mini world. The flowers are stickers and are easily removed. It would be quite easy to convert the vehicle back to standard or adjustable rubber cone suspension. It is fitted with hardened valve seats and runs on standard petrol without the need for additives.
