From there it spent a significant time in the Netherlands, most likely popping up in a classic car event in 1997 and 1998, see stickers in the windscreen. It then made its way to the UK and was given a much needed and quite meticulous overhaul. It was at this point that we purchased it four years ago as a second car to have some fun driving. We have driven many miles around the Dales and enjoyed every minute.A local mechanic has kept the engine and all things mechanical in good working order, with regular servicing, although it currently has a slight oil leak. It runs on E10 with an additive. It has had two new tyres recently. Modifications are a battery isolator and front seatbelts. In all other respects it is as manufactured. However, the harsh realities of the northern climate have not been kind to it and there are some areas of rust that need attention and the fabric roof has a small tear (see images).
