Description
VW Passat business SE 2.0, manual, 76000 miles. Bodywork is mint, alloys are mint , top brand tyres with plenty life left, interior is immaculate only thing letting it down is the mats in the front and the lever on the seat looks like it's been chewed or melted. But it still works fine. I'll be a honest as I can I bought the car 1 year ago. I got advised to get the timing done at the miles I got the car. Unfortunately I had an injury at work and was out of work for 6 months, so the car was sat on my drive. I've took the car to get the timing done and it hasn't been done correctly. Been driving the car the last couple of days after my holiday, to make sure it's all correct before being sold, and the coil light has come back on!!! Had the vehicle scanned and the same fault code is on!! The car has a fault code PO1600 camshaft/crankshaft correlation bank a sensor 1 or bank 1 sensor a I've been told of numerous mechanics the cam belt timing is out by 1/4-1/2 tooth This puts the coil light on. The timing is a 600 job and the value of the car from autotader is 9650. The car has been priced low so the buyer can get the car fixed and still get a good deal on the car. I just can't afford to put it right at this time of year. I've lost money already and I'm not willing to put any more into car. Especially after the last mechanic who has ripped me off! Easy fix for a mechanic or car dealer Once the car is fixed it will be a lovely car. Brand new battery , recently serviced, not damaged or stolen. Feel free to ask any questions. Next MOT due 16/09/2025, Grey, 1 owner, £7,500
