Description
Bought new, planning to keep forever as family estate / school run car and to tow a horsebox. Engine failure rather dented our faith in it, so have decided to sell. Waxoyl Treated when new April 2011 and again May 2017. Frontrunner full roof rack ( ladder still in box never fitted). 12v socket installed for 3rd row seats. New Land Rover engine fitted with new clutch, flywheel, radiator and injectors by Newbury 4x4 in September 21 at 157k miles after original engine timing chain failed. We bought a Toyota Yaris whilst waiting for the new engine, and discovered that it it could do the school run as well using a bit less diesel, and have used Land Rover much less since. Only about 8000 miles on new engine. Gearbox output shaft fixed in 2019 with the Ashcroft transmissions MT82 upgrade. 4 good Michelin tyres - quieter on road than the original Continentals. Front seat covers and over mats fitted from new. Recent front bumper, side steps and prop shaft universal joints. Air conditioning doesn't work and a few scruffy bits inside and out, but good condition for age. Never driven off- road beyond towing horsebox across a field. Next MOT due 10/04/2025, Part service history, Medium wheel-base, Silver, 1 owner, £19,500, No VAT
