Good points: Nice condition BMW 1 series convertible diesel that is very efficient on fuel but also nippy and fun to drive especially with the roof down. This BMW has been serviced regularly and been well looked after. In 2024 it has new front discs & pads, rear break pads and 2 new shock absorbers and 2 new tyres. Car has a decent level of spec with heated leather sport seats, M sport steering wheel and M sport gear knob. Really nice wheels and all 4nr tyres have plenty of life. Roof works as it should and is watertight. It has a parrot system fitted which allows for hands-free bluetooth phone calls and music. This is in addition to the BMW factory radio which has been retained and works as it should. We have owned this car since February 2020 where we purchased at approx 88k miles and up until very recently, the car has been reliable and a joy to own. We are the 3rd owner of the car. Now on to the negative... the high pressure fuel pump has failed and therefore is currently un-drivable and will need to be towed away. We have not started the engine since failure to reduce the risk of any further damage. Cheap car to either fix up or even strip for parts. Wheels, bumpers, wings and heated seats alone are probably worth close to asking price given the nice condition. Any inspection is welcome but the car can not be started up and will need to be towed or trailered away. Open to sensible close offers but any low ball offers will be ignored. Rather than fix we have bought a car off a family friend hence deciding to sell. Car is strictly sold as seen and classed as spares & repairs. We have not had a full inspection carried out.
