For sale, my wife's brilliant 2008 Mk5 Golf GT TDI. Only selling as no longer need two cars due to retirement. We have owned this motor since 2015 and have religiously serviced and maintained it. The service book is fully stamped until we ran out of pages at 127,000 miles in 2022 and have receipts for the two services carried out since (Oil change service at 139,000 miles). I also have all reciepts to show maintenance work carried out. In the last 4 months I have spent over 1,100 pounds on a new ignition barrel (it jammed up), new discs and pads all round, rear brake calipers, wheel bearing, ABS sensor, anti roll links and bottom ball joints plus 2 new tyres. The timing belt and water pump were changed at 118,00 miles with a receipt to prove this. MOT'd until 23/10/25. This being the GT TDI the car is both quick and economic (with a light right foot will achieve 55-60mpg+). The interior is immaculate, whilst the outside does carry age related marks. I have tried to show the bad points in the pictures as do not wish to misrepresent the car or waste anybodies time. Some kind person punched a hole in the rear bumper valance which could easily be tidied up with a plastic blank, there has been a paint blister on the rear bumper itself (not damaged) which could probably be sorted with a rattle can and there is a little damage to one of the small grills at the lower front. The wheels are the very desirable and original Ronal R32's and whilst they are a little scruffy still go for up to 600 pounds for a set even in this condition. This car is worth the money I am asking and If refurbed the alloys and had the bodywork 'mopped' probably quite a bit more, and I am in no hurry to sell, so please don't phone with silly offers. Comes with two keys but the 2nd, whilst it works, wont lock/unlock the doors using the buttons. Next MOT due 21/10/2025, Black, 3 owners, £1,950
