Selling our 1986 Mercedes 300SL in smoke silver (I am not sure why Autotrader's system is pulling this up as a 4.2L). We have owned this for 8 years and it hasn't missed a beat. Regularly serviced, fresh MOT. It has just had all of the wheels redone, modern stereo, and it had a new soft-top only a few hundred miles ago. It is the two seat model but I purchased the rear seat and back from The SL Shop to tidy it up. It has always been garaged when at home and dry stored at an external facility in the winter. We are only selling it as we have 7 other cars and it does not get the usage it requires (look at the MOT history for evidence of how few mile). It has been regularly serviced and has a stack load of documentation. No dents, and most importantly no rust (86 version so galvanised panels as standard). Only issues are some extremely minor paint chips on the passenger door where it has been dinged when opening, some scratches to the window chrome trim, also the hardtop has a scratch in it (we have never used it). Bulkhead was inspected on 14/11 and confirmed to be in perfect condition with no rust. Next MOT due 27/05/2025, Silver, 5+ owners, £19,500
