2006 Chrysler PT cruiser route 66 future classic for sale! Runs and drives well, bullet proof Mercedes 2.2 diesel engine, long mot with only one advisory which has been fixed now. Very long mot left, until the end of September 2025! Some service history and lots of receipts as shown in the pictures. I bought this car as a project, managed to get it through an MOT with an almost perfect bill of health apart from an advisory for the auxiliary belt, which I have replaced with a new one. I also did an oil and filter service at the same time so that doesn't need doing for a while. As can be seen there are a couple of issues with the car, the roof could do with being resprayed due to lawyer peel, the mileage is approximately 115,000 I believe, but there is a fault with the clocks. It doesn't affect the way the car runs and drives, it's just the mileage that isn't showing up, I've done some research and this appears to be a common problem and can be replaced fairly easily and cheaply with a second hand one. Because of this there is also a power drain so a battery isolator has been fitted until that's rectified as the battery goes flat after a couple of days of sitting otherwise. Also new tailgate gas struts are required. Great chance to buy this future classic and complete the finishing touches needed to bring it back to its former glory.
