Our low-mileage Smartcar has been well maintained and serviced regularly. The car has been a super "run-around" and it has a surprisingly roomy cockpit for two people, with adequate shopping/storage space in the hatchback area behind the seats. While it's a perfect town car/first car, it's also very comfortable on longer runs. It's very cheap to insure and road tax is low (35/year). Unsurprisingly, petrol economy is great! It has had 4 former owners before we bought it. The car is fitted with a panoramic roof and retractable sunblind, and it's fitted with a retractable passenger-shelf to protect valuables from prying eyes. It has integrated Bluetooth connectivity giving full access to music, maps, phone, etc via your smartphone, and twin cup holders. It has a very clean interior, and the 15 inch, 12-spoke alloy wheels are clean (no corrosion). There is however, some very minor curbing on the driver side. See photos. Condition-wise, the car has some scratches on the driver-side door, and a slight scuff on the front wing. See photos. Whilst it's a small car, it is also a very safe car with the Mercedes pedigree behind its design. It was given a four-star Euro NCAP rating at the time of manufacture, and it has a renowned strong safety cell. ABS (anti-lock braking system), twin front airbags and stability control are standard. Other safety features include foot-on-brake to engage reverse and key removal only when the car is in neutral. It has an immobiliser and central locking, with 2 remote-locking door keys. Recent maintenance: We had it last serviced in March 2024, and the air conditioning condenser was replaced in April 2024 to restore the aircon to its full functionality. We had the brakes serviced in October 2023. Receipts available.
