We have owned the car for the last 13 years after having bought it from a lady who had owned it from new for 24 months and wanted to buy another new car. It really has been a superb car and has never let us down. We upset it earlier this year by saying out aloud that we would sell her and then let us know about it by needing a new clutch, Dual mass flywheel and slave cylinder and gearbox was serviced and the transmission fluid changed at the same time, this 1500 pound bill comes with a years no quibble warranty on the work. Just prior to this, the rear driveshafts (rear wheel drive) were also replaced which is a common issue on these cars but you can rest easy, knowing that this work has also been done. Also circa 1500 pounds worth of work. The car has an all season set of wheels and tyres and also a summer set but the tyres on these will need reviewing. The brakes (pads and discs) and also rear calipers have also all been done! The stereo was professionally upgraded to the top of the range BMW professional model and rear USB and 12v socket was also added at the same time as the DAB bluetooth hands free stereo, these things are so rarely requested Im sure you wont find another. You're probably thinking what next? Well, we replaced the AGM Start stop battery with the RAC and, well as you'll see comes in at a handsome 500 + pounds. The car has two keys we were doing circa 6,000 miles per annum but not even that now so will sell but only if we get our recent bills back! if not then happy to keep with all the recent work done. There are no outstanding recalls all the filters have been changed, there are no service lights lit, the Aircon is really cold, always has been. there is a genuine BMW boot mat and the first aid kit and warning triangle are there as new. The oil (Castrol 5W30) has always been changed each year therefore each 6000 miles this is the ES, Edition ES LCI start stop model and will do upwards of 80mpg with tax only currently costing 3.06 pounds monthly. The rear bumper had a scratch in the corner so was replaced with an Msport model. One of the 4 alloys is a brand new item in box the all season tyres that are currently on are Goodyear Ultragrip all seaon. Im not sure what else to say really. even at the asking price Ill be sad to see her go. if buyers cant or dont see the added value in this vehicle it will remain unsold. a great car given all told.
