Description
This is an absolutely beautiful car and drives faultlessly. It's a Japanese import which I bought in good faith from a dealer last year. The odometer is in KM and shows mileage of around 54000, however, I recently ordered what's known as a VX Report and this shows the car's mileage is actually greater than what's on the odometer and is about 125000. For a Lexus of this model that's still pretty low mileage and the car still drives like a new car. Before publishing this listing I took legal advice (from Stormcatcher) as to whether it's legal to sell a car under these circumstances. They have confirmed that it is perfectly legal provided that I make clear that the odometer has been "clocked". This would have been done in Japan as the export certificate would have identified the mileage as being that recorded on the odometer, and consequently the MOT certificate also records the lower mileage figure (in KM). Future MOTs will also record the mileage as per the odometer reading. Please therefore be advised that if you bid on this car you are bidding to buy a car with actual mileage of around 125000 and with an odometer reading of 54000.Without the above issue, I would want around 13000. With the above issue I am asking for a lot less than that. As I mention above, it's a beautiful, reliable car with excellent performance and lovely bodywork with very few age-related marks. It's the Lexus equivalent of the Mercedes S Class, only it's better than that. I know, I've owned both. Immensely powerful when using both engine and electric motor. Run on premium fuel ALWAYS (but then I wouldn't put E10 into any car).It has a Tesla-style touch-sensitive screen for navigation, browing, music, telephone that works with Android Auto and Apple Car. It has Thinkware Dashcams front and rear. The paintwork has been ceramically coated. The audio system is incredibly good. I've driven this car 12000 miles this year and the only complaint I got from it was the need for a replacement hybrid battery filter, which was a simple maintenance task. It's a recent Japanese import, so typically in much, much better condition that a car that's spent its life in the UK. I have service history for the duration of my ownership (1 year). MOT until January 2025. Next MOT due 29/01/2025, Black, 2 owners, £8,750
